those who have read my past questions will understand this a lil more so...I broke up with my boyfriend (glenn) about a week ago...
i just wanted to be friends becuase things weren't exactly going well...he said he was fine with it then afterwards he suddenly stoped talking to me..he even refused to look at me...
i felt so bad that i broke up with him and i couldn't help trying to get him to meet eyes with me and letting him know i was sorry
resently i emailed him and asked if he was mad at me..
he said that he wasn't mad at me it was just he was trying to let me go and forget but in his heart he couldn't...he siad he still really loves me... and he apologized for being the way he was for the last week.we have been emailing back and forth for a couple hours now and he keeps apologizing for nnot talking to me and not looking at me and stuff... now that i have actually talked to him everything feels so much diffrent and i can't figure out why..do you think im still in love with him??

I'm sure you are, but only time will tell. Just be patient with each other. Always think about each other first before you do anything, and you'll both will stay out of trouble. You have the rest of your life so I say if you two get together, then let yourself go, and hopefully he'll let himself go, that way you both will fall deeply in love. I only wish you the best of luck. Merry Christmas.

For most dating couples they focus on the fiction. For them, love is this euphoric feeling they have for each other. They are supremely happy when they are together. This is the most wonderful person they have ever met. The thought of living without them is unbearable.
What they fail to realize is that these feelings are temporary. The average life-span of these "in love" feelings is two years. When they come down off the high, they realize that they did not marry Mr. Perfect or Mrs. Perfect. Now they must learn to live with these imperfections that seemed to be so unimportant when they were "in love." What's the answer? Learning to truly love: that is, making the choice to seek the well being of the other regardless of feelings. This kind of love is not something you feel, but something you do. This is the love that "really matters."
