my 3 month chihuahua has a hernia, her paws are swelling up. does that have anything to do with a her hernia? what is it from?

the paws should not have any thing to do with the hernia she's probably jumped up and strained her self. Get her to the vet a.s.a.p also you could gently massage the area and the hernia will retract for a while i hope this helps

I assume you're talking about an umbilical hernia, and no they have nothing to do with her swelling feet. Swelling can indicate a number of things such as injury, insect sting, infection of other illness and needs to be seen by a vet.

Swelling in her feet would have nothing to do with a hernia.
You should have the hernis fixed when you have her spayed.
That way it can never get worse and stranuglate.
