There is this rather big, reddish, painful bump on my middle finger. Hurts everytime I bang it on something *on accident*. I've been soaking it in peroxide 2 times a day for about 25 minutes each time. I'm thinking its an infected cuticle. The bump is still closed...and just now I put some Neosporin on the bump *after I soaked it in peroxide*. So now what should I do?? Just keep soaking it, then put Neosporin on it 2 times a day??? Even though the bump is still unopened???

You could have a staff infection and would need stronger antibiotics. You probably should see a doctor. You didn't say how long you've had this. If you think it would help by opening it up then sterilize a needle and give it a poke, maybe would relieve it and drain any infection.
