Talk to him, letting his ex attend the wedding and have her be a matron of honour is two very different things. Ask him whats up with the marigolds, he has to have some significance. Also whats up with the ex's big role in the wedding.

If he says no questions, tell him no wedding. A marrage should be based on honesty and openness. This is really no way to start out a life together. If he can't answer your questions, don't marry him. Seriously.

It's normal to feel a range of emotions before a wedding. I've seen brides crying on the wedding day because the groom saw them, or her brides maids were not standing in the right place.
Make sure you have your people who are helping you ready. If you have a maid of honor, let them know how you feel. That's what they're there for... Brides stress about every little thing that's why they are called, "Bride Zilla". Ok excuse the pun. But it's normal.
Your wedding day is "your day" so don't be affraid to express your emotions to the people who support you.
It will be just fine.

If you are having doubts (RED FLAG) end it now before you have to go through the whole marriage ceremony looking at his ex wife as a matron of honor. Somethings wrong with the picutre.

sounds like he's still in love with his X. If i were you i'd call the wedding off because it dosen't look like your going down a long life a romance, i think you'll be going (if you marry him) down a road of hate, betrayal and divorce
