Hi, according to the United States Foriegn Language Institute (the same people who train ambassadors in their countries foriegn language and CIA operatives) the hardest language to learn, retain, and converse with is Farsi, spoken mostly in the middle east by Iran and Afghanistan. Second is Mandarin Chinese. Learn these languages, speak them proficiently and you will make a good deal of money with the state department.

Chinese and Japanese, they're level 4 languages. Any language that is level 4 is of the highest level of complexity. English is only a level 1 language. Real simple compared.

Chinese, there are tonals to each word that can change in something like 7 ways with each different inflection and tonal making the work completely different. I have been trying to pick up a few phrases from a native Chinese speaker and she laughs at me whenever I say anything, I can't even hear the differences she says are huge.

I'm gonna go with Chinese or the other Asian languages. There are like 6,000 characters in the various languages all depending on your inflection or pronunciation or placement in the sentence. Ni hao everyone!

i do not recognize all languages interior the international, so i can not supply you an absolute answer, yet from the languages i recognize, i'd say it really relies upon on the priority. i imagine that each and each and every one languages have their strengths and their weaknesses. From my adventure, searching on what i opt to exhibit, each and every now and then, i believe more desirable comfortable declaring it in German, each and every now and then in French and typically in English. I actually have the prospect to talk those 3 languages in my each day existence, and really, it relies upon WHAT i elect to say. In some circumstances, i will choose English over the different 2, yet in some others (if I actually have the alternative to change decrease from side to side if the guy i'm talking with is conscious the three), i will opt for to exhibit myself in between both different languages. English is more desirable precise mainly circumstances like operating example with the note "complicated" interior the sentence "that's complicated." In English, the note "complicated" is straightforward and easy to pronounce. The German is handy too ("Es ist verwirrend."), yet when this sentence became to be utilized in French, we couldn't say "C'est confusant.", when you consider that this isn't suitable French. we would might want to say "Cela prête à confusion", that's totally inconvenient to apply. an same problem takes position for all time, not basically subsequently. each and every now and then, German is more desirable handy, each and every now and then, it truly is English yet each and every now and then also French.

"Chineese"? "Janpaneeese"?
Ouch.
I don't think there is a "most complex" language. They're all fairly simple once you get the hang of 'em.

It depends on which is your native language. I don't think people in Asia would have the same opinion you have.
