Give him oral rehydration solution like pedialyte, about one cup per stool / vomit, 1-2 teaspoons or sips at a time. If he vomits, wait for ten minutes, then start again, more slowly. Continue feeding soft food like banana and yoghurt. Do not give soda pop or commercial juice packs, as they are hyperosmolar and can make the condition worse. Do not give anti- diarrheal drugs. No, this is not allergy. It is probably a viral infection. Vomiting will subside in a day or two, and diarrhea will take 2 or 3 days more.Just keep him hydrated.

Children can become deyhdrated very quickly. The golden rule with them is nothing to eat or drink until it has been 2 full hours of no vomitting. Then start with something like Pedialite to restore the lost nutrients, wait a bit and see if your child holds it down. Then continue to something small, in small quanities, like a piece of toast. If your child is still vomitting and having diarrhea after trying this I would take him to the ER. That way she can get IV fluids....as well as medication b/c with this he is not holding down his pennicillen obviously.
Give the child motrin as directed for the fever.
Place in luke warm bath for fever ( NOT COLD)
Keep in cool room, do not use blankets or covers.
Any more questions feel free to contact me!

Well you need to give him stuff that will not make him dehydrated like some 7 up or what I give my son is Popsicles. He likes him and It will hydrate him and it is cold so it will help with the fever, try not to give him the red ones though if he is vomiting OK.. don't want to scare you with that. Also maybe some chewable Pepito bismal tablets they taste OK ...and it will help with the diarrhea.Good luck I hope he feels better!

He probably is sick from not having any food in his stomach. But also, be careful, he might be allergic to pennicillin. A lot of people are. Please call a doctor now and ask them if this is a possiblility! Allergies can all of a sudden appear even if he's had the medicine before.
