a. I personal pronoun as subject: ich
b. (to) love (transitive verb in the infinitive) : lieben
conjugated in the first person singular , present tense:
ich liebE:
the infintive ending EN is taken off and
the first person singular ending E is added to the stem.
c. personal pronoun YOU as direct object: dich
d. very much (adverb): sehr
e. too (adverb) : auch

1. Ich liebe dich.
2. Ich liebe dich sehr.
3. Ich liebe dich auch.

Tag: lit. translation: day (the same ethymological root for
German and English.
GUTEN TAG : formal greeting (gut: good: GUT plus the
ending EN as an adjective that goes with a masculin
noun (Tag, der . masculin ) in the accusative (direct object).
The direct object results form the idea that you actually "want to
say": I wish you a good day. Good day then is a direct object.

Tag on its own as greeting is less fromal .

TschÜss is a casual way of saying goodbye - mainly
used in Southern Germany.
(it actually referrs to the old Germanic version
(niederdeutsch): adschuss which
means "to God" , the equivalent in Spanish is AD DIOS, in
AD DEUM.

Tschau referring to the Italian Ciau (hello and goodbye)
is partly used in Germany , probably above all once again in
the South which is geographically the closest to Italy.
