It is going the way of ancient Rome. As long as they make money and it doesn't affect them they don't care. they don't understand, when the outside crumbles the middle will follow.

Do be aware that what you describe pre-dates the GWB administration by 50 years. Much of the same stuff was being bandied about by the press and private citizens-- and many OTHER issues, when JFK was in the white house. (I remember those days)
And since I don't see the future of the WORLD all that bright, no, I don't see America's future as all that bright, either.
But there is hope! Open a Bible and read the New Testament. It will tell you that a brighter day is coming.

Don't be so paranoid! The future of the US can be whatever the people of the US want and its mostly a matter of holding politicians to what they say and to stop voting for incumbents. If your job has been out sourced then you shouldn't vote for any incumbents in the Federal government. When we get to the point that we will punish the self serving politicians for their actions, even if they tell us that they didn't vote for it, they will pressure each other to not sneak policies through as then they all might pay the price for that. We should be rejecting politicians who have served long terms. They serve themselves and build political machines that can spin their own actions so that they appeal to everyone and all sides of the issue. There are national leaders who are in thier 80's and are still living in the WWII mentality. We need to have better leaders and we can by voting and demanding better candidates.

I'm a Native American and if the possibillity existed, we would be better off following the old ways of the true Americans. Any research in libraries or book stores would show that "Indians" wanted nothing but peace.

amnesty pisses me off, the war in iraq will be over one day. We've been outsourcing jobs for over 30years, so I'm pretty much over that one, importing cheap labor will be taken care of when we deport illegals. You obviously don't mind the cheap prices at walmart do you? well? someone needs to pay these people. Many times private companies can deliver a better product or service or much less money than the goverment can deliver. So I'm cool with that too. Hate to burst your little bubble, but we've had dishonest public officials since the beginning of time. Have a drink and be happy knowing that nothing has changed.

My great grandmother just died, she was 107.
Its amazing the things that she has seen and been through.
I dont think Id be able to stay in this country if it continues.
I dont want to be forced to speak spanish because they dont want to learn english. I dont want to continue to go through discrimnation at the hands of these people. We already went through this a lonnng time ago. Now we have a new oppressor. the cockroach!

America does need to go back to core American values, if there is a need for immigration it should be done legally and choosing the best people to adapt to American culture.

Big businesses owns the country and when they find out by making us all out of work and poor there won't be anyone to buy their stuff they had made over seas.
