My dog was diagnosed with conjunctivitis today and when I went to the vet he prescribed me Neo-dex for her and said to use it 3x a day. When he put the drops in when I was there and she was fine. The first time I put them in, her eye swelled up after the first minute. It has not gone down at all. I called the emergency vet, and they said she shouldn't have a reaction to that medicine. Does anyone have any advice?

Maybe it's the same with dogs that an allergic reaction normally occurs after the second use of anything we can get allergic to. I would stop using it and go to a different vet.
