Are you cool from your tattoos or a fool in love that wants attention but at the same time too amasmed to say I got problems? Does bad tattoos make you look dumb?

Your question is badly worded but if you are asking if tatoos are dumb, here's your answer, if you get one but in 5 years think you did something stupid, then it is. But if you have a story behind it or a special reason why you wanted it to begin with, then its a great tatoo. Anyone who judges you based on the ink on your skin isn't worth your time anyway.

there are those that feel that tattoos are their ticket to being cool but just because a person has them....that does not mean that they have problems. I do think it's kind of dumb when people get them on a fluke because they got peer pressured or whatsoever. I don't feel that all tattoos fall under this category however...Kind of presumptious and rude for you to say. There are some that are very deep to individuals. I personally don't necessarily like "flash" and would prefer ones that were designed off an idea...where they say something or they're making a statement. I am getting one in a month and I designed it myself and it's representing one of the things that's more important to me than anything....my daughter...it's not in a place where you can see unless I lift my shirt and show you my lower back on the side...and the tattoo is for ME....not for everyone else. Doesn't make me cool or not cool and doesn't say that I have probs....it's just a representation of something that happened in my life that was important to me...and that's who it matters to...ME....
to answer your bad tattoo question: it depends on how the wearer feels about it. yes, there are some where the drawing isn't all that great and such...and they prob should have done more homework re: their artist....but hey - they may still be really proud of it.

Cool or not...it is really a matter of opinion. For most people, I don't think they get a tat to be cool, rather to express themselves in some way or to remember something/someone special. My first tattoo was one on my lower back that symbolized my freedom and my personality. Did I think I was cool to get one? Sure, but at the same time it was something that I knew would always be special, so when others see it and judge me one way or another, it doesn't really bother me. In fact most people who see my at my daily office job in finance would never guess i have multiple tattoos...to me every tattoo is cool, so long as it means something to the person who displays it.

Tattoos are an art and can be defined in the same way. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art is meant to stir emotion and start an internal dialog. A person's tattoo is the perverbial heart on your sleeve. It shows that person's interests and passions. Its only akward when that persons interest and passions change. But then were they really passions?

I think my tattoos are cool. My parents dont even know about them. I got them to express myself not because i want attention. My tattoo's aren't bad so they don't make me look bad but i have seen some hideous tattoos.

I have one that I got for my sister. When deciding to get it I didn't think about whether or not it was cool. If a tat is done badly then it can make you look dumb, but that is why you go to a professional.

Well those Chinese mafia tattoos are dumb. Who are they trying to impress? Also incomplete tats are stupid, like the Taiwanese who all seem to be running around with just the outlines.
Dumb *** tats are just that. I know of a guy who had "Made in Canada" on the inside of his lip. Also saw a girl last week with a HUGE frog all over her tummy. Looks like the tat has a girl on it.
Tats are cool if they fit in with your lifestyle. Bikers have tats. A CEO doesn't have "I love Mom" on the back of his hand. I have friends who ran with though crowds when they were young and now have hide tats after they became professionals.
So to each his own. Just don't be stupid when getting a tat.
Last one: A girl and her grandmother are getting ready at the swimming pool, when little girl notices that grandmother has a giraffe tat on her left breast. 'Grannie why a giraffe?" "My dear I got this when I was 21, it used to be a picture of Bambi!" (OK it's an old joke, but you get the point.)

I have a tatoo and it is a fairy on my back and i love it i didient get it so people think that im cool i very realy show it off.....people only see it when i have a bikini on so only in the summer....i dont wear cloths to relive it....i got it for myself and its something that i wanted...i dont regret it at all i love it more and more each day that gose by

i don't think my tattoos make me "cool" i think my tattoos make me happy. and they make me colorful and enhance my skin. they are art. my tattoos really have nothing to do with attention and i no longer have any bad tattoos (got them covered up with great ones).
