I have been 'asked out' by plenty of guys that I really wanted and still want to go out with. The problem is, though, I don't feel comfortable accepting gifts (like Christmas, birthday, holidays, anniversary, etc.) from guys. What should I do? Please help!

one date doesnt mean you have to buy gifts or receive gifts from these boys. if it does come up simply tell them that it is unnecessary to exchange gifts, if you receive a gift anyway just say thank you and dont feel obligated to do anything in return

trust me i have the same problem but know i understand it's normal and u have to act normalc about that situation. guys give presents to girls to show how much they like them and they want us girls to enjoy it and be happy that we get presents from them, and trust me the other stage is going to be is u will be asking urself should i get them presents too, the answer to that ? is no because they should be the ones to spend money to see u smile not the other way around

You can always turn down the gifts when they give them to you. Simply tell them thanks but no I can't accept this!
