I get IBS and it's all to do with unmanageable stress.

To combat it, I need rest, plenty of clean water and very simple foods. I also find that sorting out whatever is causing the stress tends to result in an improvement within a day or two.

Rest inlcudes play as well as sleep, both are important.

Have you ever heard of Reverse Therapy Sara?
It's quite new and I don't know if it has got outside of the UK yet, but it is extremely effective.
My daughter had ME - she had three sessions and is now completely better. She's not the only one I've know of who has had real benefit from this therapy.
I used to treat people with ME. It helped but it took a long time. Now I send people to get Reverse Therapy.
I hope it goes well for you Sara, I know how horrible it can be.
