The likelyhood that any items on ebay actually contain a Djinn (or even the spirit of a Djinn) is zero. As some of the others have written, they are treated as a separate people and as a real culture in Islamic history who are numbered among the faithful believers. They are described as choosing to remain invisible or "hidden from sight"... They are not however the 'wish granting machines' as they appear in Hollywood or Disney movies.

Of course they exist. Djinn (the males) are blue, somewhat two dimensional, and sound like Robin Williams. Genies (the women) wear skimpy outfits, have no belly button, and look like Barbara Eden.

Yup jinn exist. Ghost stories and spooks and the likes are what get the credit, but those type of moments most certainly could be jinn, but of course God knows best.
It's best not to try and get involved with them though as people can go crazy from the interaction. Solomon was able to controller them through God's power, but the rest of us are best left not messing with them.

Real life Jinn (the ones associated with Muslim culture) don't grant you wishes. My aunt has one (or at least claims to) and they can be used for deceit and maliciousness. They're not very friendly people.. lol

I've heard strange stories, and one incident I've seen on TV, about idols drinking milk.
How about people who walk on fire and never get hurt?
Is there any other explanation?
