I'm bipolar and especially when in a manic state the creative ideas flow like crazy...no pun intended! That's one of the reasons we don't like to stay on our meds. It makes us someone else. We can't do the things we could before creatively, but in the end it is well worth it to be able to keep our friends and families and lives!

It depends on how "crazy" they are. Actually a "crazy" person is one who can and will cause harm to another person or their self's.
Many creative persons have been called crazy, but that is just because they see things differently than other people, but they were not or are not "crazy" They might be eccentric and inventive or creative, but certainly not crazy.

I personally do not believe that there are "CRAZY" people. I believe there are people that suffer from mental illness. Some time's their illness might assist them because they can't sit still, have trouble with boundaries, do not carry the same reserve that most of us do when making decisions, etc. So I think they may venture out to do things that most of us wouldn't which is different which is deemed creative and new. I think everyone possesses natural talent just everyone does not venture to find what that talent is.

Define 'crazy'.

People with certain mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder, have been proven to be more artistic and creative. Vincent Van Gogh had it, Jimi Hendrix had it, Ben Stiller has it, DMX has it...

People with Asbergers Syndrome (A mild form of autism) are also more creative. For example, the creator of Pokemon has Asbergers.

I don't think they're more creative i just think they're method of doing things are sometimes unconventional because maybe they feel like they have to be politically correct and follow the drawn lines that society has set stone all the time.
