they have different lengths throughout your hair. theres 2 different types of layers. one type is when in it goes from short to long in the front of your face. the other is in the back, when theres different layers from the back of your head. it's really cute hair style so if your planning on getting your hair cut then you should defiently get layers, especially if you have long hair.

Layering hair can add alot of style to your hair cut....layers are cutting the hair and making certain areas a different length....longer all around the perimeter of the hair and then gradually getting short towards the top...also people get long layers which are just a few layers from your length of your hair about 1-3 inches upp.....

Layering hair means having different parts of your hair cut into different lengths all the way back, so it'll flow together @ the end, but each layer is a different length.

I recently got a hair cut and I have fine hair. I got the lady to take half on the top and layer it with tons of layers and the other half she kept the length with a trim. That way it looks fuller, and TRUST ME, it looks better. People compliment me about my hair. Plus a side bang gives it more depth. My hair length is half way on my back and the top part is layers. It looks really good.

Ok well when you get your hair layered it goes from
different lenghts Like well usually people start
from the top of youre head short not that short
like bangs but inches longer then it keeps getting
longer their also are "Long Layers" and "Short
Layers." Well Its better to have "Longer Layers"
cause they are long and very prrety People with
Shoulder like hair have "Short Layers" and
people with Longer hair usually get "Long
Layers"

It means that different lengths of hair are cut all around the head. It might start off short in front and then get longer in the back.
