I ♥ myspace, when I moved from GA to KS I lost touch with alot of my old friends and when I moved back to GA I got a myspace and found alot of the people I used to go to school with. It is fun and although I know your mom probably hears about the predators on myspace, I think the girls set themselves up, its simple put your page on private so only the people you invite can view your page and dont accept messages from people you dont know (you can block people too). I think you will enjoy myspace but it can be a little addictive at first.

I have one and I actually like it! It can be quite addicting at times...epecially when you don't have anything to do. My mom is not wild about myspace either...thats why you have the option of making your profile private or public and you don't have to put down where you actually live.

Tell you Mom to check around in myspace, see what is going on and attitudes of many of the "kids" on there. She need to see for herself.

I love my space! I have met a lot of nice people.Myspace is just like AOL or any other Internet service,know common sense...do not give out personal information,no phone numbers,do not meet anyone ,do not post provocative pictures.Be safe.be smart.

If you are under 18
have a private profile , where only your friends who know your last name can add you or message you then I see no harm in it at all.
If you are over 18
Find a good job, and move out. It isn't her business at this point

If you wanna get one then why not ?
If you or your mom is scared or rapists then put it on PRIVATE, only people on your friends list can see your profile. (to make it private you can put your age 14 or so then it will automatically be private)

Prez say he not like myspace. Prez say its not safe. Prez say too much people meet and have things go on. Prez say drugs. Prez say drinking. Prez say Mom, if you let kid have myspace, you put profile to private. Prez say allow only kids kid go to school with on. Prez say only allow cousins on. Prez say allow only people kid knows on friend list. Prez say myspace dangerous for kid under 18. Prez hears lots of horror story for adults, nevermind kids. Prez better know.

I don't see what's so good about MySpace. It gives my computer viruses, and it slows it down a lot.
And there are a lot of creepy stalkers on there.

I personally think it is stupid. The only reason to have one is if your in the music biz, your an aspiring porn star, or if u want to keep in touch with old friends u dont really like. those are the only reasons people have one.
