Generally atheists are far more honest than Christians.

When it comes to money etc I would judge according to another criteria, not position regarding religion.
When it comes to information, what is true and not true, I would be inclined to trust the atheist more so. Christians have shown time and time again that they cant get facts straight. They seem to have a strong aversion to seeking out facts FIRST before believing something to be true. Atheist would no doubt admit they are wrong before a christian would. Atheist would have a higher rate of fact seekers. However, there are of course many atheist that are just like the many christians.
On a scale from 0 to 10 on the matter of trust in regards to hard to get at truths.
Fundamental christians : 0
I give the moderate christian : 3
and the atheist : 7

Contrary to many modern day, left-wing, revisionists, Hitler was NOT a Catholic. He instead was an occultist who professed his faith in Aryanism, an ancient occultic belief system that ascribes to the superiority of the "Aryan race".

So, in answer to your question... I trust a Christian over an atheist anyday. Afterall, look what lies YOU posted as a question.

It would depend on the individual. I am a Christian, but have a friend who is an atheist, and he's more trustworthy than many church-going Christians!

An atheist, the ones I've met have been much more honest and nice than Christians. Just the way things are.

It depends on how trustworthy they are. I've known some Christians whom I knew I could not trust. I do not personally know any atheists.

Is that they only information I get to make this decision? That's ridiculous. I know both Atheists and Christians that I would trust with my life, and I know both Atheists and Christians that I wouldn't trust any farther than I could throw them. Could I at least have their criminal records to make this decision?

No religion or lack thereof can prevent someone being a liar. Only someone's personal integrity counts and you can only judge that by what you know of them personally, not from a religious label.

Depends on the person.

Hitler WAS Catholic. And not a very good one when he was. Later denounced it.
