We spend two billion dollars ($2,000,000,000) a WEEK on this war. If we spent that much money on heath care and eradicating poverty and providing homes for the homeless, the results would be unparalleled. Has the war lasted for five hundred weeks yet? If so, we have in fact spent 1 trillion dollars on this war.

The overall cost is $300 billion, but that includes wages and care taking expenses such as housing food, the cost of equipment and the cost of about 3,000 infra structure projects in Iraq alone. The U.S. will get more than 20% of it back from taxes.
