I usually wake up with only a very vague recollection about what Ive dreamt about but i get a great kick out of my other half's dreams. I woke one night to find him banging on the bedside locker, when i asked him what he was doing he kept saying, ' oh no, oh no, i cant stop them, they re everywhere. I asked him who was everywhere and he got even more panicked, made a mad dash and rolled right out of the bed, waking up in the process. He then explained that he had been dreaming that millions of spiders were coming to get him. He did eat cheese before he went to bed, maybe that did it. Really i don't care i got a great kick out of it

My dreams usually center around things I have done in past, just as work, places I have lived, people I have met and usually they take the form of fantasy.

Is surrealist fiction a category? I don't know how I'd classify most of my dreams if they were movies- maybe put them in an "art" section. Most of my dreams don't make any sense, and the ones that do come from stress.

most of the time, it involves sports, adventure or completely random things. Once I dreamed my dad was trying to kidnap me at the grocery store and he was much younger and my mom was trying to take me away. Once I dreamed I was meeting the cast of one of my favorite sitcoms when stole my favorite characters book, I woke up. Once, i was running hurdles in the parking lot of the high school. I don't even go to high school!

I have 2 recurring ones quite regular. one is having snakes posted through my letterbox (how freudian is that!) and another being chased by a shark whilst in a public swimming pool. very strange but the details are always the same. any interpretations would be appreciated!

My dreams seem to mix people from my past with events of the future. I can't explain it. Maybe they are 'what if' dreams.
