MY six year old is tall and muscley, so she ways 65 pounds.

It depends on a lot of things: activity level, temperature, humidity and each individual stores and uses water differently.

Basically you should let your six year old drink as much water as she wants. And make sure she drinks extra water when it is hot, humid or if she is very active.

However, not all 'liquids' are equal. Caffeinated beverages make you lose water. Sugar-laden beverages will make you fat and rot your teeth quicker than you might think. Fruit juices are good because they have vitamins and other nutrients.

Just plain clean water is always the best though and thankfully a healthy body knows what it needs so just encourage her to listen to her thirst and drink as much water as she wants to.

Ermm 1 and a half litres to 2 litres of water a day.

As much as she wants and is thirsty for, more water than anything though, and some juice too. You don't want her to get dehydrated.
