You have to be into what you're studying. You can have a really really long attention span if you're passionate about a subject. If you don't enjoy what you're doing (and let's face it, most studying is boring) then you can only do it for a little while before you need a break.

I tend to study for 15 minutes at a time, then go do something else for a couple of minutes, otherwise I ge really fed up and don't learn anything.

OH GOD! (sorry not intended in vain!)
I have no sweet clue!
I have an average in the high 90's and sitting down and forcing myself to studdy has NEVER worked for me! i usually space it out study for 15 minutes and then do whatever, then study for like half an hour, but when you feel confident you know every thing, make sure to quiz your self, that way you know what you have to study more! I cannot remember a thing i study unless relaxing is the last thing i do, so balance out your studies and your play time!

They would sit very quietly and in a comfortable position if they're gonna study for hours on end...
I mean, come on---obviously this person wants a good grade or grasp of the subject in order to better themselves, so lay off.
What's more important--a social life in college or go underground for 3-4 years and study and work and then partaaaay when you land your first huge big job making beau coup cash cuz you were smart in school?

Hmmm....

Lol, nice answer, straw. ;)

I can easily spend all day studying something if I'm interested in it (particularly, new languages).

Many also find themselves easily able to spend a year or two on a course that will help them get out of a dead-end job with low pay and little-to-no respect. I've seen many people I've known do that.

A good attitude to better oneself, and motivation to succeed in life or at least in one small endeavour is usually the thing that does it, I believe. It's not like you have to spend the rest of your life studying-- unless you want to.

yes this is common problem among the students.

first you haven't got enough concentration to study. to success this step u must find the funny sides of your work. always there is a funny side.
second look for where do you start from. dont forget a way 1000 steps begins with the first step.

third start from the easiest part of your work

than the last one is to enforce yourself to study in a thiry minutes

they're determined to be the best that they want to be. If they study and get good grades they'll achieve their goal to succeed in what they're sitting and studing for!

On a serious note - remind yourself of the benefits of passing your subjects.
