He doesn't know how to express his emotions. So even if he likes it, he may not show it. I think.

He could be lying just to impress his friends. In that case he's a jerk and you don't need someone that would use you like that. But on the other hand he might really like you he is just unsure of how to show you how he feels about you and he thinks that by simply telling you he likes you, it will make things all better but in reality, it doesn't. If you like him then talk to him about it and let him know that if he likes you as much as he says he does, then he should act like it. Then maybe you'll get the respect you deserve.

Maybe..it depends. Either u don't want to admit the fact or he's just a liar and u have great senses on when a guy says he likes u or not.

The way he talks to you?
Is he mean to you, does he have a history of recent break ups, or hook ups, does he seem like he cares about YOU-- i.e. your personality...?
If no then I bet he's lying.
But only you can really tell.

sometimes it's hard to tell if a guy is lying or not. how long have you known him? don't rush into anything and DON'T ignore that gut feeling. take things slow! enjoy his friendship and company.

All you have to do is if your in a conversation with him, bring it up give him your sweetest eyes and smile, if you think hes lien try it over until you are SHURE he isn't lien
