like could it make ur muffins bigger or..??

You can add baking powder to make things fluffy. Be careful with how much you add or you will have a mess. Try putting a little in water to see what happens.

Baking powder is a leavener. It contains an acid and an alkaline which when exposed to heat and/or fluid combine to produce carbon dioxide. The CO2 is released during cooking causing your baked item to rise.

It will not blow up and is NOT for cleaning. Baking SODA is used for cleaning.

Baking powder is for baking, however if you use self-rising flour you don't need baking powder. Baking powder makes breads,cakes and cookies rise,be light and fluffy.

u have to be careful and only use baking powder when required by the receipe. It will blow up.
