That's like saying "can I put my clothes on your bed even though there is plenty of room in my closet?". Yes, it's rude anywhere and in the ghetto, it's grounds to be shot.

Why would you want to park in front of your neighbor's house if you have plenty of room in your driveway? That is pretty rude. Try to be considerate of others and thier property.

You've sort of answered your own question. The only time it would be ok to park in front of your neighbor's house is if you're having a large family function and you wish for your family to park in your driveway instead of the street.
Just use common sense - how would you feel if someone did this to you...............

Without asking, yes, what if they were getting company or something......... but if you have plenty of space why do you want to park in front of someone elses house anyway? I know my husband gets annoyed if the neighbors park in front of our house.

If you are only doing it very infrequently because you are having guests park in your driveway, it should be OK. If you do it all the time, it is not OK If it is in front of my house, the air in the tires is gone!
