my mom says I wouldn't like it but i talked to this girl and she said its full of artsy people...I like artsy people (= I'm a theatre/dance person. so whats it like?

Artsy and gay people. Lots of clubs. Many restaurants. Expensive.

OMG. whoever told you its for artsy ppl is totally WRONG.
i know that alot of rich, jappy, blonde and snobby people live there, our school usually plays against greenich schools in sports, and i've been there. lol, and i'm not even kidding about the blonde thing, there are ALOT of blondes. lol.
so...overall, if your looking for artsy, you should go to Soho. not greenich village.

It's not as artsy as it was years ago. Many of the good restaruants are out of business.

1)The atmosphere is great, if your open minded.
2)Great food, a lot of great vintage clothing.
3)They're friendly and nice.
I go there all the time, I love it, Soho is great as well.
