I love onshore and offshore fishing activities. and I swear to my salty ocean how lovely it is when reeling in a huge king mac. or fighting more than a meter long baraccuda! but sometimes, you have misfortunes when rods and lines breaks spoiling the fun and glory. I live in the United Arab Emirates, and these place is one of the best places to reel in your trophies...

St. Croix is excellent with the SCII glass, sturdy and flexible. Gives you both power and casting distance. And it's able to handle fish up to 50 pounds if you are lucky enough to hook one. This year, I'lll be looking into a G. Loomis, another top level fishing rod. There are others like Lamiglass, but so far I've only had St. Croixs and I can't complain.

Shakespeare's UGLY STIK Range (made by both SHAKESPEARE USA + SHAKESPEARE UK)....... regarded as the most unbreakable rods there are.
As far as I'm aware, nearly all the blanks are made in the USA still.
