How do you know if someone is worth a second chance?

Here what happened. We weer together for anout 4 months then he wanted to try and fix things with his ex. They have a kid together. Anyways were split for about a month and now he is saying he wants me back because he was thinking she isnt treating him right. I dont know if i can trust him again but i was was head over hills in love with him. Now i still love him. Would you get back together?

Depends on why you have to give them one in the first place. A second chance because of what? Missing a date? Cheating? Forgetting your birthday? Were you dating around? Dating exclusively? If you just broke up to date other people for a while and you are young, that's a normal thing to do. If you broke up because someone couldn't be honest and say they weren't feeling it anymore and went behind your back, that speaks to character. What does your gut say about the situation? That and common sense will give you the answer.

Well it depends on you...can you trust them again...do you still love them...are you two right for one another.
If you do give a second chance then you must first agree to trust them fully, if not it will fail miserably.

if they really love you and they would do anything in their power to get you back...then they are worth a second chance!

you just have to go with your gut feelings on it. be careful so that if it doesnt work out you're not hurt more than you were the first time around

if you look back and realise that they were not bad after all,we usually know whats important when it's gone.
