First off, be careful. There are alot of creeps out there. Ask this person to call you on the phone. Then you can make sure it's not some old guy thinking he's chatting with a 12 year old girl. And If you must meet this person, meet in a public place like the mall or something. Good luck.

You can never be sure until you start to learn more about them personally. Its best to talk on the phone (but block your number) and get to know them really well before going farther in a relationship. Many times people misrepresent themselves online and it could be very innocent and that they don't feel they are as good as they want or it could be someone looking for someone and misrepresenting themselves so they can get a meeting...which is scary as you may not know their intentions. If you really want to meet them, then go with friends and make sure not to let them know where you live until you have developed a greater trust.

If they are serious they will send you all the infor for you to check out, including addy, #, pictures, all of it. But be prepared to share back. Now, do we really want to do that?

You need to do a reality check. Meet this person in a public place. Find out for yourself what this person is really like. If you start running into lies, move on.

DONT TRUST anyone in a chatroom, if you're in a chatroom never tell the truth about anything, even say your the opposite gender. I had a friend that was molested by a internet pedophile.

much said in a chatroom is chat. some is meaningful, but most is tempered with a little exageration. take it with a grain of salt. don't dive in so you will get badly hurt, physically or emotionally.
