But I don't regret it for a minute... he was the most wonderful man any girl could ever wish to meet. Although its been painful that we cannot see it through, I will always have our times together to cherish, and he will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always love him. He also helped me improve my life and for that I am eternally grateful.

yes, he is wonderful but he has been a friend of the family for 15 years. we knew that it wouldnt be right for us so we left eachother alone. One night we told eachother how we felt and he took me home. he asked for my number and called me that same night. we talked until 7 in the morning and found out we had more than just a physical attraction. I had a boyfriend, he was seperated with three kids (hes 31 im 23) anyway, we were perfect for eachother but my family found out and threatened him. I havent spoken to him since. we went from talking everyday to nothing at all. I really miss him but there isnt anything I can do about it.

Unfortunately, yes.
I am married and fell in love with another guy several years ago.
Even though I decided to stay with my husband, it was the most difficult thing I've ever been through. I'm still not over it.
My advice is...if it feels wrong, just tell yourself to STOP.

Yes it happened to me many times. Like last summer I fell head over heels in love with my friend Matt and him and I daited for 2months but the thing is I shouldn't have fallen in love with him b/c he was playing games with me and making me feel like I wasn't good enough for him.

I honestly believe that most people are in lust, not love.

Love requires reciprocation, and communication, and it takes a long time, and a lot of luck to find that. People tend to just want it to happen SO BADLY, that they convince themselves that attraction is love.

Incidentally, I have very much lusted, but not loved a few people. I have loved one, and I am still with him.

YES! I have. It can be the worst thing or it can be the best thing. In my case it was the worst thing, but it's turning out to be an okay thing. Every day it seems to get a bit better. But there are rough days too.

I think everyone has, or come close. The forbidden fruit is soooo exciting, but I don't think the outcome is ever happy. Look for someone available and skip all the misery.
