You can use different types of Rum for your recipe, it all depends on your taste. I like to use Bacardi. Some people use Malibu because it is sweeter.
Buy some Coco Lopez(1can), pineapple juice(12 ounces),
OJ(4 ounces), canned pineapple(4 to 5 ounces).
Submerge Coco Lopez can in hot water for about 10 minutes.
After ten minutes, put all of the ingredients in a blender for about 15 seconds. Do not add rum. This is only the mix.
Pour contents in a container with a lid. When you are ready to make a drink, pour your ice in a blender, about 2 and a half ounces of mix, add your rum and blend away. The amount of rum is completely up to you. However, remember that if you add more than a shot of rum, you might need to add a little more of the mix and ice so it won't be watered down.
The mix should last for about 4 days. Any further questions, just ask. I hope my answer was helpful. Enjoy your Pina Colada.

3 cups (1/2-inch cubes) peeled fresh pineapple (1)
1/2 cup Malibu (coconut) rum
1/2 cup well-stirred canned cream of coconut
Special equipment: 8 (1/3-cup) ice pop molds and 8 wooden sticks

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth, then force through a fine sieve into a large glass measuring cup. Pour liquid into molds and add sticks. Freeze at least 24 hours.
ENJOY!!!
