When my cat got sick my Vet recommended getting turkey and chicken baby food to try and get her to eat! I would not recomend this for a long period of time and getting those teeth looked at should be the next thing on your list to do!

Hi, I can't view the picture, access denied. Anyway, all baby cat requires baby/kitten food. They can't eat regular adult cat food because the food is not formulated to meet their growing needs. There are food that is formulated for all stages though, that can be eaten by a kitten and an adult. Always put the kitten on a wet diet instead of offering dry food. There are many misconceptions out there about feeding dry food to your kitten/cat. Please be aware that feeding dry food is convenient to the owner, but might not be the best for your kitten/cat. When purchasing kitten or cat food, stay away from grocery brands. They have really undesirable ingredients and a lot of cheap fillers like corn and wheat that your kitten doesn't need. I recently got a cat with a severely abcessed tooth. He was in such pain that even soft food wouldn't do it for him. The tooth HAD to come out.
Human baby food has no taurine added to it. Taurine is an amino acid the cat must have in its diet. Your vet has a food called a/d which is very rich in nutrients (one of the few foods for cats made with pork) and that has the taurine in it.
So you can try that too and probably the teeth must be attended to first.

Yeah we used small amounts of chicken and turkey flavored baby food to dress the main cat food for our picky cats at our clinic. But I would definitely get the teeth looked at and I wouldnt feed them strictly baby food. Just mix it in with its regular food to make it eat the food it should. Good luck and Happy holidays

Yes, if your cat is having teeth problems, try some of the baby food meats as a temporary solution until you can get the dental work done.
You could also puree some cooked meat in the blender.

Probably! Human baby food is sometimes seen as the ultimate weapon against feline anorexia!
Just be sure to get baby food with NO ONIONS!!!
Onions cause anemia in cats, so be sure to avoid them. Most baby foods contain some onion, but one of the big baby food manufacturers (I forget which one!) took all the onions out of their products, supposedly to make them safe for cats.
Get some food into kitty before his/her liver goes fatty; that could kill him/her!
And get those teeth out pronto before they become infected (they may be already.) If the infection goes systemic, that could kill kitty too!

I have used baby food for cats when chewing wasn't possible. Go back to food specifically for cats as soon as possible though. Do have your vet check the cat.

I agree with Old Cat Lady, you need to have your cats teeth attended to. Ask your vet for the Hills A/D diet, which is very liquidy she may eat that. Please seek medical attention for your cat.
