You are a gentle soul, with good intentions toward everyone.
Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.
Sometimes this faith can lead to disappointment in the long run.
No matter what, you deal with everything in a calm and balanced way.
Ambition drove many men to become false; to have one thought locked in the breast, another ready on the tongue.

I am not planning to celebrate Eid. I am not Muslim. Furthermore, I have never gotten over the film 'Silence of the Lambs', and the thought of lambs being slaughtered and listening to their bleeting, frankly, disturbs me. I suspect they know they are about to be slaughtered.

However, your association between Eid and The Id, strikes me as no coincidence and rather freaks me out. I may be anxious, as I have already mentioned, when Muslims celebrate Eid. However, I think that Sigmund Freud was a fraud, and his real last name should be Fraud, not Freud, which I think means happy. He invented a way for "stonecutters" to "sacrifice" people to a vague and dubious cause called psychiatry, psychology and "mental health". Re. the film line "Dr. Hannibal Lector likes me.", well, Dr. Hannibal Lector MAY have the capacity to like SOME people, but I do not like Dr. Hannibal Lector. The aftermath of this deception on the public does cause me anxiety, and no doubt goes on every day. If you obsess yourself with words like Id, Ego and Super Ego, you may risk becoming perverted or deranged yourself.

I answered mainly to mention that I probably slammed your answer to my question on the word "anti-Semitic" a bit hard in my remarks. As I already have written elsewhere, I presumed on looking at the link that it was one more link about saving people and sending everybody who did not think the same way to Hell or damnation. Having later looked at the links, I can see that the links were good ones on The Art & Craft That Made America Great, Freemasonry and related organizations, a cult of theft that "advances" people by having them rob their own first and then plunder from someone else's territory. They eventually rob everyone, including themselves and those they do not want to injure. If you do not see it as instrumental to the problems of the Middle East and elsewhere I would be surprised. However, it is not only Jews who are perpetrators of this evil practice. What is George W. Bush ("mainstream American"?). It seems like his family has excelled at it. What about the Bush family friends, the bin Ladens?

Anyway, my question on being "anti-Semitic" pertained to the frequent misuse of the word itself, as Arabs like Osama bin Laden and Mahmoud Abbas, as well as Assyrians and many others, are Semites, too, along with the Jews.

Peace out, man!

I like Eid and all but for the past 6 years both sides of my family (mom's side and dad's side) have been fighting over the usuall, money, cars, stores, and power so guess who gets stuck in the middle, me my older brother and my two little brothers so as usuall, it's gonna suck this year like it does every year, we barely get anything anyways
I know it's supposed to feel great but it doesn't

This is Eid ul Adha in which Muslim's all over the world sacrifice animals as Allah ordered it to be so after Abraham (PBUH) offered his son for sacrifice which was replaced by a sheep at the last moment by Allah thus accepting Abraham's sacrifice and making it a ritual for all Muslim's of the world to sacrifice animal's in the name of God. Eid ul Adha comes after Hajj one of the five pillars of Islam and for the knowledge of a idiot Ramadan is a month of fasting after which comes Eid-ul-Fitr. I celebrate my Eids without any anxiety with the wish to please my Allah.
Happy Eid Mubarak and Merry Christmas to all
