I have been making cookies for awhile and I use to be able to make them soft, but now they barely last 12 hours with becoming rocks. I do not understand why.....
So does anyone have a secret to making the perfect SOFT cookie???

I only cook my cookies until they start to brown about 9-11 minutes. It is important to stash them in a good container. Or in the big plastic baggies that I use. Also you might try raising your oven rack 1 level higher.

You may be using a little too much flour.
