damp your face (or just the area with the problem) with hot water, rub your face with regular or face soap and then wash it off with cold water! the hot water opens your pores so the soap can get in there and clean it out and then the cold water closes it so it doesn't get dirty. hope this helps!

Sit back... this is a LONG answer, but I wanted to help you out! I know it can be frustrating. This REALLY works!! There's a person sent me an email saying to me that it worked for her!! This was also been chosen by Reona to be the best answer because it worked for her too!! Proof, read here..

Gather all materials beforehand -- see "Things You'll Need" below. You might want to store them in a waterproof resealable bag, such as Ziploc. I'd recommend wearing either old clothes or a bathrobe over whatever you are wearing. There is a definite possibility this is going to spill. After you have found everything on you checklist, head to a large, flat, waterproof surface. This is probably your bathroom. Having this room be private is highly advised; you can't just say, "Get out, I'm flattening a pimple," can you?
Things You'll Need
- 3 or more cotton balls
- Lukewarm tap water
- Cup to hold the water in
- Salt
The Method
1. Salt the water thoroughly -- much more than you think it needs.
2. Dip one cotton ball in the salt water.
3. Wait for 30 - 60 seconds.
4. Squeeze out excess water out until it is damp, but not dripping.
5. Place the damp cotton ball over your large, oh-my-goodness-I-cannot-go-to-... zit. If you have several of these grouped together, try to place the cotton ball over them all.
6. Glance at your watch/clock. Wait exactly three minutes.
7. Remove the cotton ball after the time is up. The zit seems to be nearly gone, but it is only the top that has dissolved. Your acne is still there.
8. Take the other two cotton balls and place them on either side of the despised pimple.
9. Slowly, move them closer together until the tiny bump is flattened. Congrats! You've just conquered that giant of a pimple -- forever!
10. Apply honey on the infected area & go to sleep!!
Tips
*Don't forget the last 3 steps -- they are crucial.
*Be sure to follow these steps closely. Dipping a cottonball in fresh water as opposed to salt will not work, for instants.
* You might want to bring a book -- either waterproof or one that you do not care about being splattered in water. Those three minutes can get boring.
* This is your best bet for monster zits that simply sneak up on you. For long-term healthy skin, cleansing and toning is also important.
Warnings
* Please, PLEASE, do not assume this is permission to "pop" pimples. Doing so can cause major scarring. Please don't pop them.
* If you stop after the top is dissolved, I must warn you: it WILL come back! Maybe not in the next five minutes, but during the course of an hour, it will come back!

If you can, get to a dermatologist and ask for a cortisone shot for the pimple. It will reduce the swelling in 24 hours.
One at-home solution I rely on is Dessert Essence's Tea Tree Blemish Touch Stick. It has tea tree oil blended with other ingredients so it is not harsh. Just apply it to the zit and wear it overnight. It has a bit of an herbal scent that fades.
Trader Joe's has the best price but Whole Food carries it too.

Benefit makes a similar product with salicylic acid called Boo-Boo Zap.

is it 1 zit or is it a swarm of acne pimple?
if it's one zit, soak a piece of bred in milk. than press softly against zit for 7 minutes.
Then apply rubbing alchohal on it several times for the rest of the day.
eggwhites.i hear they help. just dab some on.....
honey helps too.
if it's a swarm of acne, than mash 2 strawberries and apply to face. than wash off in 10 minutes. this will erase most of ur acne zits....

toothpaste BUT BE CAREFUL because once i did this and it dried that spot of my skin out so bad it looked more like a scab than a pimple and people thought i burned my face....HOW AWFUL! If all else fails, just use cover up, its better than nothing

those are great...but before you do it apply a (hot as you can stand) compress to the pimple for about 10 minutes. Then follow the other advice.

Put some toothpaste on it before you go to bed. In the morning wash it off. This usually works for me.

my mom told me to put honey on my zit and then put a band aid over and sleep in it. then you will be ready to wash your face and put the toothpaste on it. be sure to wash your face after the toothpaste has sat for a while so your face won't smell like toothpste unless you want it to.

Rubbing alcohol to dry it out, then sleep with Crest toothpaste on it....sounds sick, but both dry them out really well, and it will at least shrink a lot :)
