Hmmm . . . as long as it isn't in front of her. That will make you seem lame and it won't improve your odds at all. And unless the relationship was very serious, you shouldn't be crying either. It's better to find out that she doesn't like you before the relationship goes any further. Tears of joy, however, are permissible in a serious relationship. Good luck with the next one!

Oh yeah . . . don't be fooled by all the responses from girls on this. If you cry in front of a typical woman because she rejected you or something, you are more likely to make her resent you than anything else. They WILL look at you different most of the time. I hate crying in front of people. It does make me feel weak but i think i had a good reason to. I've only ever cried in front of a couple of people and that was because my dad had just recently died of cancer. Cry over something stupid like someone calling you a name is weak. But if you're cry because you have lost something precious like a loved one then that is fine. I would cry in front of a friend, but i would never cry in front of a girl i fancied or a girlfriend. I would walk out or go to the toilet so they didn't see.

for real it does not matter because qhen a boy thinks they are all that and say like well i do am a guy and then i have the guts for real i don't like and it is okay but don't cry over a thousands of people in front of you that would be embarrassing okay you could cry when you are alone or when you are with your mom or family that you could like to tell what happen or even a friend you really trust on..and i loveit when guys cry it is so sexy.

Yes, it is ok for a guy to cry....who says a guy shouldn't cry? Guys have feelings just as girls do...and if he feels so bad about something that he wants to cry, then he should cry.....eventually he will stop crying and he will move on...and he will realize that he will find another girl and find happiness again....

I should say however, that nothing in this world affects me more than a guy's tears....i mean i start crying immediately, because when a guy cries it means that he really really feels bad and is hurt...

It really would depend why you are crying over her. If you where just rejected for a date, no its not okay toughen up. If you where crying over a long term relationship that went bad, yes its okay to cry. If you are crying over a failed marriage, yes its okay to cry, if your crying over a death of your lover, yes its okay to cry.

But this goes on for both sexes, not just male or female. It really depends on the situation and what happened to really say if its okay for a guy to cry. I like a sentimental guy who can show his feelings, but I can't stand a weepy person who will cry over anything, and that goes for male or female.

Of course it is. Just don't use it to manipulate her. Make sure your tears are sincere. I had a couple of guys cry to get me to change my mind about breaking up with them only to find them acting the same way -neglectful, selfish and lying all the time.
So go ahead and cry if it hurts that's what tears are for. Regardless to how it appears,God didn't just give them all to women.

Why not! We are human. You cant controll your inner feelings with logic.
Over a girl, I say cry openly to see how she reacts and how much human feelings she has.
Some girls in my experience are very cruel and you never make a good future with them, no matter how beautifull and sexy they are. crying(if you really feel like to cry) infront of a girl you love is a good mean to know her.
Let your feelings go, in this way you find the one who deserves your love and cry.

I think it takes a real man to admit he is hurting enough to cry. Crying and feeling emotional pain is what makes us human. Almost all men cry most just don't like to admit it. Personally I think a man who is comfortable enough in his masculinity to cry when he is in pain is very sexy and manly

I personally think it's adorable when guys cry. It shows that they actually feel. I think it's cute for a guy to cry over a girl. It's sweet.
