Why does he need to know? Don't say anything.

dont take this the wrong way, but it's not good to hang around your ex right after a breakup. no matter what, when you have sex with someone, there is an emotional connection, weak or strong that is made. It is a delicate situation, one that will not be easy to tie off at the ends. Your current b/f, the *cough* best friend, should have told his boy what was happening from the start and shouldn't betray friendship like that. The best thing to do, for both of your emotional situations is to talk it out, especialy if you ever want to be friends with your ex again.

You can tell him from a long distance away, a few hundred miles oughta do it. No matter how you do it, it sucks and it's going to hurt. Both of you. Have you considered the two of you telling him together, so you can show him you are strong and united together?

On second thought, a letter always does the trick. Good Luck!! (and I'm glad I am not you right now!) Food for thought: It is not uncommon to attach ourselves to someone close to the one we love very much, especially when we think we cannot have that person, or be happy with them. It's a way staying close to them. It's very destructive and bad for all usually, if that is the "unconscious" reason for the new relationship. Like I said, GOOD LUCK!
