I have played soccer for many years. I am in my 20s. When it is cold or cool, I usually wear compression shorts. When it is warm or hot, I sometimes do not wear underwear. I either go without underwear or wear compression shorts. I prefer to go without honestly. No one has ever made a big deal out of it on or off the field. Soccer shorts are usually long enough to keep you covered even if you slide or kick. I never wear thongs or other underwear. I rarely wear underwear off the field. As a matter of fact, I usually take any underwear, compression shorts, etc. off when I get to my Jeep after practice or a game. I usually wear nylon or climalite adidas soccer shorts and they are very comfort either way. Email or IM me if you have any questions about this. I have been in your situation before and tried a lot of different things.

Umm, Sweetheart, I played soccer for eleven years and have found just regular cotton underwear is best. Thongs are VERY uncomfortable when running, no matter what people say. Also if you didn't notice , most of the poeple that replied were guys, so obviously take no heed to their answers, it's not like they would know from experience what to wear anyway!!
Merry Christmas, hope my answer helps :)

Play up the boxing, soccer is for wimps, unless you live outside of the USA. Maybe go out for football or lacrosse. Don't mention the grades unless she mentions she is struggling in a particular subject. At that point offer to help. As for underwear, free ball it all the way, that is what real men do...

Wear some type of shorts/pants over your underwear. What you wear under that is your business.

probably a thong and then compression shorts over that. you should wear what is comfortable and something that you don't notice when you play, so it sounds like a thong would do well

well if you got to change in front of your teammates i think you shouldnt wear i thong for there sake and yours. just wear some basic underwear like hanes. i wear the plain black and white ones. they dont give you ambarassing wedgies like some other kind of underwear.

You need to wear something comfortable sweetie. It matters not what we say,but what you feel comfortable in.If they are comfortable to you,and you like them continue to wear what you did before, however i would think they would be a little uncomfortable especially with you running and all,so it is up to you, just wear something youll be comfortable in.Good luck hun, have a good evening.

Not during soccer!!! It's called grandma panties! They don't ride up and if the baggy pants fall down you've still got coverage

If you are on a period, proper pants and a pad will be good, as long as you change your pad at halftime. If you are not on a period, proper pants will be the very best thing to wear.
