i have dvds 4.7 GB (obviously)
dvd writer
not sure what software to use
i have tried with nero but it said it would take 10 hours so i aborted
i have tried with click n burn dvd but they would not play on my dvd player

Ur stuck with the 10 hrs! Dvds take a LOOOOOOONNGGGG time! Especially a largely sized one. And dont be misled by estimated time usually it is half that!

I use Nero to do this regularly & for a full DVD using an AMDX2-4600+ with 2GB of DDR2 ram & it can easily take up to an hour when coverting AVI to DVD.

It is a very processor intensive operation.

Unless you are using a considerably slower PC I'm not ceratin why this would take 10 hours, however, it may be accurate.

Yep, converting to DVD format does take a long time.

use convertxtodvd... been using these for year's now. haven't had a problem at all....go to www.vso-software.fr
