Yes, we believe that the ten commandments were given by God to His chosen people through their leader, Moses.

Jesus said that to fulfill the all the law, one must love the Lord thy God will all ones heart, mind, soul & strength and to love others as ones self.
The 10 Commandments were written in two slabs of stone by the finger of God. God gave the tablets to Moses & they were put into the Ark of the Covenant.
Before we are Christian, we fell short of the 10 commandment laws. So we repented and received Christ Atonement for our sins. Now we are under the New Covenant with better promises. God writes His Love and Laws in our hearts. Do this & the 10 Commandments get fulfilled.

Yes and Yes. The 10 commandments show us the need for a savior.
have you ever lied? ... yes
stolen?... yes
coveted? ... yes
Adultry (Jesus taught that if you look at a woman to lust after her, you have committed adultry with her in your heart)?... yes
honored your parents? ... no
etc...
The bible says that if you break any of these, even once, that you are guilty of all. A guitly verdict on the day of Judgement earns you a ticket to Hell. The ONLY way out has been provided by God through His son, Jesus.
So, I don't think that you can call yourself a Christian and not believe in the 10 commandments.

This my friend is a part of the base of the Christian religion, of course they believe in the Ten Commandments and Moses as well as the patriarch Abraham and so many other Jewish prophets. Christianity for your information is referred to as the Judo-Christian religion.

The Ten commandments were handed down from God to Moses but are no longer our ticket into heaven. The 10 are now used to show us that we can't make it into heaven on our own. Not one of us is good enough. That is why Christ had to die.

Yes of course. Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the Old Testament - of course we should still keep the commandments but we are sinners and will sin - that is a fact. We must strive to be Christ-like though - on a daily basis - striving not to sin, but we cannot help it. Accepting Jesus gives me the Holy Spirit which convicts me of my sin and helps me not to sin - to please God. I hope this helps.

Yes and Yes, as others have said here. Please do not think that NT Christians have dismissed the OT. The NT is the fulfillment of the OT, not the cause to throw out the OT.
