First of all you would only qualify as a dirty old man if you were considering dating a 16 year old. I vehemently disagree with the one who compared it to rape, that's ludicrous considering her age is 25. My advice is to respond positively to her attentions, ask her to out to lunch or a movie and just see where it goes. You're making it too complicated by worrying about how it will turn out before it's even begun. Keep an open mind, what do you have to lose? If her attention to you turns out to be only as a friend, you end up with a new friend. I don't think you're mistaken at all in thinking she's dropping hints. If you are, which again I doubt, now is the time to find out. My youngest daughter married a man 16 years older than she. With my mind of stereotypes in the beginning I tried to talk her out of it. They've been married 10 years now, very happily, and it's now a family joke to call her husband 'Guido', which was pretty much my first thoughts before I actually met him.

Of course it is possible. Where there is a will there is a way!
When I reached 25, I spoke Indonesian, English, Sundanese, Dutch, Makassarese, Manadonese quite fluently. ten year laters, at the age of 35, I have added French and Japanese. 5 years later I acquaired 3 more: Ibanese, Malaysian and Bidayuh.
I learned Mandarin, Portuguese and Cantonese when I was 55.

learning 2 is a accomplishment for many true americans. Athough, learning 3 or 4 is a good thing in the modern world.

When you have learned french and spanish well, when you are 18, you can strat a new language, so yes you can learn another one. Italian will be easy because it has common roots with french and spanish.

it's possible.
i'm 27 and i can speak english(ofcourse), spanish, arabic, and urdu.
you just have to practice and work very hard not to confuse any languages with eachother. lol. sometimes when i have been speaking one language for a while and one day try to speak another....it's very difficult because a word or two from one language may pop up in the other and people look at me with a funny look on their faces. lol
good luck!
:-)

I think three is enough. You're learning there important languages so you'll be fine with that.
