The laws about the use of ID to get onto a flight are very fuzzy, I was listening to NPR the other day and they stated that most people who tell the airline that they lost their ID are able to get on the plane without showing one. This obviously only works for domestic flights. You just have to be ready to spend more time in security that other passengers because they will go through your bag with a fine tooth comb. You can also try and use your birth certificate. In any event, good luck and if you can't get an ID by the time you have to fly I would just show up and say I lost mine.

Go to your local DMV and ask for a picture ID. All the people I knew who didn't have licenses but needed a picture ID got them there.

Why don't you have one? Go to your local licensing office and get something. Depending on the state you live in they often give you an ID the same day.
If you are in Michigan or Minnesota, you are screwed.

there's this dude in LA who can make you one in a jiffy, right there on the street corner! I'd try him first.
