If a girl I'm pretty smitten with - and who I suspect has feelings for me - mentions that she's planning on asking out someone next month (in front of me and some of my friends) does that mean I shouldn't make a move?

Or is it possible she could be trying to bait me or whatever by saying this?

If she doesnt have a steady guy then go ahead and ask, The worst that can happen is she will say no. You have nothing to lose.

Give up now. It probably won't work. She is not trying to bait you. If she is, she's pretty smitten with her own stupidity. Good luck with the next one!

Hmmm... smitten. LoL

I think that if you become positively SURE that the girl likes YOU, then you should go on and (first) hang out and get to know her more then eventually ask her out. (I find it more romantic when the guy asks the girl out...)

Could be baiting. Ask her out and see what happens. If after she accepts to go out with you and she mentions someone else after that, dump her. They don't understand any other language that this. You have to be firm with chicks. They are ruthless. Kinda wolves in sheep clothing kinda. (they get worse the older they get, but they get desperate when they get older)

If you haven't made a move yet, move fast or you could find yourself on the outside looking in.

Always make the move first, and in private.

If you like her, go for it. If she says no, don't be a stalker. Just let it be. More importantly, when you do go for it (one time only REMEMBER), be bold; don't do it acting all scared.
