Well most STD's are curable.... So if i knew before we got together then yes I would give them a chance and just be really safe an protected...... there is no reason in judging someone based on an STD when that is really not thier personality......

Find out what it is and what you need to pervent yourself from getting it.....

If they HAD an STD, you know the circumstances in which they got it, and their sexual history (VERY important) then there's no reason not to resume a relationship if they've gotten rid of it. (Chlamydia, syphilis and gonnorhea can be cured) but if they still have it, I would NOT advise resuming anything but a breakup. However, In any case, I don't recommend sex until you're absolutely sure you know the person as well as you should.

Was it cureable or are we talkin the kind that stay with you forever? I suppose it wouldn't matter until we decide to have kids and I would be exposed to it... would it be worth it to me.... maybe... but probably not!

Depends on what it was, some, with percautions will not allow it to spread.

But mostly, that would be a no, eventually you would catch it.
