Let me tell you this from experience!!! If your cat is going into heat every month something is wrong! I have had 2 cats that have gotten this and it is not good take yours to the vet asap!! It is call Pirometrea it is where the female cat is not spayed and their uterus fills with puss. This can kill your cat! The main sign is going into heat more then the normal every 6 months!!
It is like when a humans appendix burst!! Please take your pet to the vet and have it checked!! The other signs are a clear fluid or puss like fluid coming out of the volva (sexual organ) Please it is not normal for your cat the be in heat every month!! One of my cats almost died and cost me 2000.00 in bills because her burst! The sooner you get it taken car of the better!

First of all this cat is not in season every month.
Second of all there is no reason to frighten her by creating loud noises directed at her.
Third of all spaying is NOT the only way of stopping her 'calling' so if you do want to breed her then you should get yourself a decent vet who will tell you that there are other contraceptive methods for your cat (tablet form and injection) However this does not actually stop the 'cycle' so she will still come into season once these treatments are stopped. When she is in season you will know because she will call 24/7 they only stop when they fall asleep!
Fourth, it may have nothing to do with pyometrea
Fifth, rehoming should be a last resort.
Please, the problem needs to investigated before you decide on anything. Siamese are a socially dependable breed, unlike most cats who are independent. Please bear this in mind.
I have a male siamese who does this very often and i can assure you that he does not have pyometrea and is definately not in heat! so dont panick.
Now, this may at first sound mad but air pressure can affect all animals and so when there is a full moon this can make them a bit 'funny' Well it happens to my siamese anyway. This is the first thing that sets him off.
The other thing that causes this is if any of my other cats are out and he wants them in! He will feel very lonley and sorry for himself and because they are a vocal breed he will let me know! Sometimes all he wants is attention from me if iv been out most of the day.
Usually all i have to do is call his name and he is quiet, if not then take him into the same room as me (this works the best, as its usually attention of some sort that he wants)
I still recommend going to visit the vet to discuss the situation with them but this is from personal experience with the breed and i hope it helps you in some way

There are only two ways to silence her (other than getting rid of her). Spay her or breed her. "Backyard Breeding" is irresponsible and results in the deaths of millions of cats each year. It will stop her howling -- until a few months after the kittens are born, then start up again.
Spaying, on the other hand, is inexpensive and proven to extend the life of cats and dogs. It eliminates the high risk of cancer in the reproductive organs. It eliminates messy monthly discharge and usually eliminates certain bad habits such as howling, fighting, spraying (in males), etc. It tends to assist in forming a calm, loving demeanor in cats and dogs as well; they're less restless. It eliminates the cost of veterinary bills from pregnancy and birth, as well as the cost and time involved in feeding, caring for, and training kittens (which are never born when YOU want them to be). It also means you'll never be responsible for the likely deaths of kittens that you can't care for. There are just too many kittens already, and not enough good homes for them.
Think hard about this one. I know it's not the answer you want, but unless you are an experienced breeder (and if you were, you wouldn't be asking this question) it's the only real answer.

You can't stop a cat in heat from acting like she's in heat.
Through your irresponsibility you've already lost your chance of eliminating her risk of mammary cancer (the most common lethal cancer among mature intact females) by having her spayed before puberty. But you can still prevent her from becoming frustrated and miserable every time she goes into heat.
I won't ask your reason for not having her spayed because I know there's no possible good reason. So stop being a jerk; get her spayed. There is no excuse for leaving her intact. She deserves better.

If you are unwilling to get your cat spayed, then she'll continue to go into heat and will continue to howl. There's nothing (except for spaying) that will stop the cycles or the noise.

Siamese are prone to being, shall we say, more vocal than most cats and that alone would drive me crazy....but...if you want her to shut up you probably really need to have spayed. It is a very safe and simple procedure and will make her much happier, really....sounds like it will make you happier too.
It really isn't cruel, having them declawed, now that is cruel, but spaying is quick, safe and simple...plus, what if she gets out?...then you will have kittens, with out a doubt, do both of you a favor and get her spayed, it sounds like she is miserable...good luck.

There is nothing you can do to prevent the heat cycle without spaying. I recommend getting her spayed asap. She will be a lot healthier & happier. Her risk of mammary cancer will be reduced, her risk of reproductive cancers will be eliminated and so will some very serious reproductive infections.
Cats usually go in heat every 21 days, the more cycles they have the more issues they can end up with.

If you're not ever going to get her mated then leaving her intact is abit cruel and very frustrating for her. Siamese are also well known as with all other orientals for being very vocal and demanding. You cant stop her howling. She wants to get out and meet the boys. Please get her neutered if you have no intention of breeding from her. She'll be alot happier and so will you.

You need to get her spayed unless you intend to breed her. Otherwise, she could develop breast or ovarian cancer. (No joke--that's what happened to our cat, and the vet said it was because she was intact but never had kittens.)
If you intend to breed her, you'll just have to live with it. Siamese cats are the most vocal breed anyway.

You can't, you have no other options. This is called a Con of not having your cat spayed and there is no pros! You might think you are saving yourself money but in the long run you aren't. Do you, her and everyone else a favor and get her spayed.
