If you truly don't believe in God; you wouldn't even bother to come in here in the first place! So; something tells me that you are curious or you wouldn't bother.

I was once a hater of religion. And Somewhat of an atheist. But I know too much to deny that God really does exist! I've seen things happen in my own life that have convinced me. Even though I don't attend church. I believe in him strongly.

We are trying to correct the many lies and misconceptions about us. Remember how many of have died from religious persecution, it's logical to watch for signs of hysteria and inquistions.

Religion and spirituality don't always involve a belief in God or a god. Religion and spirituality are based on beliefs and faiths. Atheists have beliefs as well, they just don't agree with yours. Same exists in all religions, which is why we have so many, which is why Yahoo doesn't segregate R&S into each individual religion and sect and school of thought. We may not like certain individuals that frequent the boards, but the boards are here as a way for us to connect and learn from one another. When you log onto Yahoo and come to answers, what do you have in mind? Chances are you are comming to catch up with some news, learn some information, teach some information, and share in the socialism. We can't always pick and choose who we come across, but why not make the best of it and learn from each and every encounter?

Gee, so what do you think? Should YA have separate sections for Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Wicca, Hindu and whatever else there is and also a separate section for atheists and agnostics? You know, it's called Religion AND SPIRITUALITY and if you can't tell the difference between them, then I feel sorry for you. Maybe if you stop asking questions of atheists and agnostics....but you guys never do. Please believe me when I say I am NOT curious about Christianity, but I am curious about human behavior. And this is the best forum to observe human behavior.

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

well everybody regardless if they are muslim satanist christian jew hindu buddhist sikh bahai pagan atheist or agnostic like myself or whatever other religion there is has a right to be in the religion and spirituality section as this is a place to share your beliefs regardless of what they are as everybody has the right to educate eachother about their beliefs so that there could be no more misconceptions to anybody else's beliefs this is an educational experience you hypocrite which is why everybody is here for the exact same reason to share eachother's thoughts and learn form eachother so who the hell do you think you are buddy boy you aren't any better then the next guy just because you have a religious belief or whatnot i'm sick of people like you asking this same stupid question but i will continue to say the exact same thing to the next moron who asks this question and believe me there will be another moron like you to ask this question

They must either be curious or just want to get their two cents in on things. Some of each I would suspect from the different answers given to questions in this section.
Also, you get points so maybe it is for that reason, too.
Why does anybody do anything? Unfortunately, there are as many reasons for doing things as there are people that do them.

lol the questions come up in the general answer place to. lol what do you think its only in religion section. keep paying you preacher 20 percent of what you earn so he can drive a 40.000 dollar car and live in a muti million dollar home and get some extra money to learn a little about what you're asking. i say again all question's are posted in the same place they just have what they are about under them....get it good and i dont need a offering

I sing with Spirit-I feel the lives of those who have passed are still alive in me because their memories belong to my admiration-They were here they are gone-but I sing their lives with compassion and love everyday. I feel that there may be some theists out there who actually have some intellect and I try to save them from being a close-minded sheep and to help them expand their narrow mind by directing them to websites such as www.whydoesgodhateamputees.com. If you really want to use your brain and to weigh the ideas logically, you should check it out. So I come to this area to spread the truth.

It's under the society & culture section and last time I checked it was a free space to all. Of course we're curious, we just don't get why you do believe.
