long hair is more unique because everyone now has short hair. it is harder to manage but i think it is really pretty.

I prefer long hair. You can do more with it than short hair (braid, ponytail, curl or wave it, etc). I have long hair and refuse to cut it off, though I ask my sister to trim it a little to get rid of the split and dead ends. I only wish there was a way to make long hair grow even longer, faster - lol.

short hair! i have short hair and at first i d it but everyone said it looked so good so now i like it too. long hair can be hard to take care of. short hair can be highlighted and dyed in crazy colors and still look good.but if u tried that on long hair, it would look really ugly

As far as guys, it really depends on the person. My boyfriend looks better with longer hair because he has really nice thick curly hair. With short hair he has places that stick up and it is straight.

Well, i only want my hair longer because its easier to put it in a bun.
I like both long and short... honestly, i think long hair is over rated in the mainstream.
