I'm also starting to feel relly sleepy in class and i have almost fallin asleep several times.

FYI i have an alarm clock and i have been looking at it whenever i get up and please dont say i cant sleep becuz of these reasons:
-I'm under alot of pressure(i am not! in fact...i think i'm under no pressure at all)
-Something is bothering me (NOTHING is bothering me, i am currently very content with my life)

well you may be working to hard....your body may just have alot of energy and is not tired when u try to go to sleep. Take some vitamins...it helps with vital body functions.your body may be rejecting the sleep because it has so much energy.

You might consider the following:
1) not drinking any alcohol/caffeine or eating anything sugary for at least 2-3 hours before going to bed (in fact, not eating anything 2-3 hours before going to bed, and drastically limiting alcohol, caffeine and sugar intake);
2) not getting enough exercise -- at least 15-20 minutes every day really can help (30-45 minutes would be better);
3) analyzing the food you eat: sounds like you may be allergic to something that's keeping you awake;
4) deep breathing exercises/meditation prior to bed;
5) herbal relaxation remedies including: Gaba; Valerian root, Vitamin B6, etc.
6) Answering the questions: what do I get out of not getting enough sleep? What am I afraid to let go of?

Hope this helps!

Here are some tips to help send you off into a dream world each night:

No stimulants during the day! People who are sensitive to caffeine and sugars often find that an early morning cup of coffee can inhibit their sleep, up to 12 or more hours later. Make sure your bedroom is completely dark to help the pineal gland’s production of the sleep hormone, melatonin. If you enjoy exercise, don’t exercise too close to bed time, as vigorous exercise can be stimulating.

Don’t watch TV late in the evening, and go to bed to sleep or enjoy a romantic interlude. Don’t use your bed as an extra office by doing office or other work.

Well, don't take any caffeine during the day and see if it helps. You shouldn't take any caffeine after about noon, anyway. Also, don't use computers or TVs about an hour before going to bed, because the lights signal to your brain that it's still daylight. Try to sleep in a dark environment. See if changing your mattress or pillow may help. Try to exercise around 60 minutes a day, in a gym, sport, or just running in a neighborhood. Maybe get involved in a new project, so you have something to tire you out. If you still can't go to sleep, see your doctor about trying sleeping pills and/or other help. I hope you sleep better!

One cause may be if you are exercising at night, which causes your body to stay awake, or it could be your bed or your pillows causing you to be uncomfortable.

If that's not the cause maybe you should see a doctor and find out why you can not sleep well.

you should do a little sports each day . that'll take the adrenaline away and helps you to sleep easier and faster again . if it doesn't help , take some pills that help you calm down or go and see a doctor .

You are probably just anxious for Santa Claus to come. If you've been good this year you have nothing to worry about!
