Adios. In spanish, hasta luego is a more casual form of "goodbye" It's more of a see-ya later. But "Adios, que Dios te bendiga" is Goodbye, may God bless you.

Torres signed for Barcelona and Abidal was negotiating with Real Madrid too :-) I love to see non-spanish people get mad this day, every year :-) Pep decided to stop negotiating with Barca over a new contract last year, that was hilarious :-D Merry christmas ! :-)

Adiós. This word was used a long time ago to say good bye specially to sailors or soldiers since there were many chances of not seeing them again. It derives from the words a (to) + Dios (God) and it meant that next time they'd see each other was in heaven. This word can also be found in Portuguese >> 'Adeus' which also means a(to)+Deus(God).
