well there are many factors to consider. the size of the dog, the living environment of the dog, they way they are raised. and also all breeds are different.
i had a toy poodle growing up that only ate chicken and he lived for 17 yrs.
my brother's chichuwaa lived until she was 20 yrs old.
now i have two cocker spaniels. the female is 11 yrs old and going strong. the male is only 5 yrs old.
best thing you can do is do some reasearch in the web regarding different breeds and see what is more suited for your situation.

Larger dogs live to be about 8-10 years, while smaller dogs tend to live 15-18. But good health is a huge factor in a dogs lifespan.

It depends on the dog, its size, its breed, etc. Smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger dogs. Smaller dogs can live 15+ years, while larger dogs only live about 10-12. There are different cases, though, where a large dog lives longer.

It really depends on what breed you get. Siberian Husky, for example, can live for up to 25 years while a pug can be expected to live between 10 - 12 years. The average livespan of a dog is 10 to 15 years.

Cross breeds generally live longer than pure breeds. Also a good diet with plenty of fresh vegetables, cooked and uncooked meat, and dry food will help them stay healthy. No onions or chocolate. Some dogs can live up to nearly 20 years, but average 10 or 11

It really depends on the dog, if its a small dog, like a toy, they could like 15+ years. If its a medium dog its about 15 years. large dogs like less then 16 years.

You can go to google and look up the dog breed and it will usually give you an estimate of the lifespan
