Take off your license plates. you might not see anyone, but there is almost always some nosy ***..le looking out there window. it would help if you drove someone else's car. and don't do it near kids, cause that's not cool.

If you are thinking about it, than it it would not be a hit and run!!! If a person is hurt it would be a charge of aggravated battery with a motor vehicle (a serious felony) or attempted murder. If just property was damaged it would be labeled a criminal mischief (possible a felony if enough damage was done).
It depends on your record and the severity of the incident to determine if a jail sentence would be levied against you.
A hit and run is an accident which is also a criminal infraction but is labeled under traffic. You could have your license revoked and the insurance would climb.

Best Case Scenario:

Your car will be smashed, and as you try to escape, the oil leaking from your trashed engine finally causes your engine to cease as you start to pull away. From the tires marks, the police will know you intended to run.

The other car may be smashed as well. The driver happens to outweigh you by about 100 pounds and is nicknamed "Chuckles" because no one would dare call him "Bubba", "Meat", or "Killer". Chuckles is upset that you hit him and he wants to exchange words as well as insurance information.

After seeing you try to escape, Chuckles gets angry. Chuckles grabs you. Through your closed driver's side window. And extricates you from your vehicle through the new hole in your window.

The police come just at that time, preventing Chuckles from doing anything illegal. After all, he was just stopping a fleeing felon. The police thank Chuckles for being an upstanding citizen.

You? Well, you never did recover from that extraction. You spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair, and your insurance company doesn't pay because you caused the accident.

So, here's to you my friend! Go ahead and meet Chuckles!

Now that you've post this on the web, if you do it, it will now be considered premeditated, so you will most likely be charged with murder if the person dies, not manslaughter or a lesser charge. You are an idiot for posting this type of question on here. It is easy to track a computer ip address, and find you moron!

a) You might get away with it (bad odds depending.)
b) You might get a warrant for your arrest and not know it until later if someone recognizes you and talks to police.
c) You might get arrested fairly quickly (depending upon police presence or response time if someone calls them.)
d) You might regret it (probably.)
e) At least one or both vehicles will recieve damage on which you may be forced to pay (insurance rates might go up.)

Maybe, you ought to just forget it and go back to writing idiotic questions here so that we can all waste our time some more and get meaningless points by answering stoopid questions like yours (smile.)

You most likely will get caught because there is almost always someone who sees something! I advise against doing this!

Only if you don't dress up in a bright red santa suit and run down Broadway shouting "I'm a genetic freak!" yeah, they'll never find you.
